On Saturday, March 5, 2022, the club race of the Ski Club Schwendi-Langis in the disciplines Alpine, Nordic and Touring took place in beautiful weather in Langis. We congratulate the winners Mona and Vera Fischbacher, Beatrice Suter, Colin von Deschwanden, Markus Burch, Roman Berwert, Lina Berger, Lukas Berwert, the seniors Remo Burch and Carolina Rohrer and all who had the courage to participate.
We are already looking forward to next year!

The season in Langis is in full swing. Young and old are practicing at the ski lift and whizzing down the slopes. The sun terrace at the Blockhittä invites all bon-vivants to escape the gray fog and recharge their batteries with a fine fondue or Blockhittä coffee and simply relax. Welcome to winterwonderland.

The first Blockhittä Tour this year takes place on Friday, January 14, 2022. First you go on snowshoe hike with Glanzmann Sport before you come to the Blockhittä for a mulled wine and later a fondue in the cozy hut.
The guided tour, the material, the mulled wine and the fondue are all part of the package for CHF 69.-. You can book the adventure online or via e-mail.

Old Mother Frost is in the best of moods at the moment, covering the whole of Central Switzerland in a splendid white dress of snow. Also in Langis the winter shows its greatest side and there are best snow conditions. Therefore, we are pleased that we can open the ski lift in Langis already one week earlier than planned, on December 18, 2021. Ryan is from New Zealand and has been a professional outdoor guide for 5 years. Canyoning as a sport he started here in Switzerland and has taken him to some amazing areas. He likes canyoning because he can get into some really cool places. His favorite tour is Chli Schere because it has some really nice features. Ryan is a canyon level 1 guide. Other than canyoning he is a keen climber and ski tourer.

Marc has been a big canyoning fan since childhood. He went canyoning with his parents when he was only 4 years old. Since then he has never stopped discovering new canyons and has done many tours in Spain, France, Italy and Switzerland as well as training courses. His favourite canyon is the Gorges du Llech in the eastern Pyrenees.

When canyoning, he is fascinated by the moment before the jumps. It's as if everything stands still and then suddenly it starts: the noise of the waterfall, the light penetrating the crystal-clear water and nature in its purest form. Pure freedom and adrenalin. The opportunity to share these experiences with people motivates Marc to work as a canyoning guide for Outventure.

Panos has been working for Outventure as a senior lead guide canyoning since 2017. Before he moved to Switzerland, he already built up his own canyoning company in Greece with a friend and has also guided in New Zealand. He has done several trainings in Switzerland, France and Italy. He also maintains the training platform (V7 Academy) with canyoning friends from all over the world. His favorite canyon is the Oules des Freissinieres in France.

We decide about further season extensions from week to week. Whether on the slopes or for a Blockhittä Kafi - come by again. It could be the last time this winter.

Lots of fresh snow and a sunny weekend ahead - the perfect conditions for a snowshoe tour in Obwalden. The snowshoes can be rented at the Blockhittä (also spontaneously). Included in the rental is a free hot drink in the Bergrestaurant Schwendi-Kaltbad. This is necessary, because it gets cold. But with the whole-body activity and warm clothes you defy the cold.  We are looking forward to a fantastic weekend in Langis.

The Glaubenberg moor landscape stretches between the Pilatus in the north and the Glabuenbielen pass in the south. With 130km2 it is the largest moor landscape in Switzerland. It was placed under protection on 6 March 2012.

Last year we took the following steps to reduce our impact on the environment: coffee from Bergen Kaffeeservice with compostable pads, tea from Narimpex made from local herbs from the Simmental, disposable compostable cups - no disposable plastic, drinks from reusable glass bottles (no PET) and drinking water from the tap.

We organize individual events according to your wishes. As here for Mercedes-Benz Trucks. Which every year look for the best truck drivers in Switzerland. The best two drivers can then prove themselves against drivers from eight other countries. We are eager to see whether this year's winners will defend their title in spring 2020 again.

Only two days to go until the biggest fair 'Iheimisch' of canton Nidwalden begins. Outventure operates a zippline. Enjoy the fair out of a bird perspective darting off the 22m high wooden tower. 

The fair takes place from Thursday, 30 May until 2 June 2019 on Flugplatz Buochs.

Open times have been adjusted due to weather forecast and carnival. The ski lift Langis is open on Wednesday as well as at the weeken from 10am-4pm. The last day of the season will be Sunday, 17 March 2019. We are planning something special for that day. More info will follow here. 

The Blockhittä, the cottage beside the ski lift, can be booked for groups of five or more any time.

In the log cottage, named Blockhittli in Swiss German, we serve world-class Schnaps from the distillery Burch in Sarnen. 

Hansruedi Burch used only natural ingredients and distillls every Schnaps himself.  

We have Schnaps of plum, herbs, and pear or the houseblend of the  Blockhittä-Kaffi. Wanna come and try?

Bei uns kommen Actionhungrige auf Ihre Kosten. Neben dem 14 Meter Pendelsprung gibt auch einen 12 Meter Freefall Jump. Action2 für Jedermann. Der Freefall ist gratis und öffentlich zugänglich. Den Pendelsprung kann man jeweils am Mittwoch und Sonntag Nachmittag von 14.00-16.00 Uhr gratis ausprobieren, übrige Zeit auf Anfragen und gegen Aufpreis möglich.

Cornhole, auch bekannt als Bean Bag oder Sackloch, ist ein Freizeitspiel, bei dem mehrere Spieler abwechselnd mit Mais gefüllte kleine Säcke (Bean Bags) auf eine angehobene Plattform mit einem Loch werfen. Bleibt ein Säckchen auf der Plattform liegen, ist ein Punkt erzielt, fällt ein Säckchen in das Loch, sind drei Punkte erzielt. Hier ist Spiel, Spass und Teamwork garantiert! Was machen unsere Guides eigentlich vor dem Eintreffen der Springer?
Unser Guide hilft mit beim Aufbau der Bungee Anlage, zudem macht er mit dem Leadguide den Start Check (Kontrolle der Bungee Anlage). Der Guide übernimmt beim Einrichten der Gondel auch noch die Aufgaben, die er vom Bungee Master aufgetragen bekommt. Zur guter Letzt hilft er dem Bungee Master beim Messen und Kontrollieren der Bungee Seile, wiegt die Springer und beschriftet das rechte Handgelenk der Adrenalin-Junkies.

Spiel, Spass und Teamwork: Am Dienstag, 3. Juli konnten wir ein Teamevent durchführen, wobei die Teilnehmer Mut, Arbeiten im Team und Vertrauen bewiesen haben. Es war ein toller Anlass und alle waren zufrieden. Wir konnten einen tollen Event zusammen in Zug direkt am See geniessen. Mehr Ideen für Ihren individuellen Event finden sie hier.

Iglu im Sommer? Haben wir, jedoch nicht aus Schnee sondern in Form eines aufblasbaren Eventzeltes – das ist die Iglounge. Einsetzbar im Sommer wie im Winter, bei Regen und bei Sonnenschein, immer und überall. Für Ihre Geburtstagsfeier, eine Präsentation oder als Hochzeitslocation. Den Einsatzmöglichkeiten der Iglounge sind fast keine Grenzen gesetzt.
