For people who are doing canyoning for the first time, we recommend the FUN tour. However, it is also possible to go on the ACTION tour. Our guides can respond well to people and help to overcome fear. There is always the possibility to bypass an element by abseiling.
People with fear of heights and flowing water better go on the FUN tour and people searching for more adrenalin go for the ACTION tour. People who go for beautifull nature and adrenaline go for the DREAM tour.
There is a minimum age of 12 years for the canyoning FUN tour and a minimum age of 14 years for the ACTION and DREAM tour.
There is the possibility to go canyoning with younger children, but only on a private tour.
Canyoning is suitable for people who are healthy and sporty and want to experience the landscape in a different way.
Please bring swimming trunks and a cloth as well as dry clothes. We provide the complete canyoning equipment (neoprene, helmet, harness, neoprene socks and shoes).
Yes you need to be able to swim for canyoning.
The FUN tour costs: CHF 169.-
The ACTION tour costs: CHF 189.-
The DREAM tour costs: CHF 189.-
This depends on the group and weather circumstances but expect the following:
FUN tour: 4 hours
ACTION tour: 5,5 hours
DREAM tour: 9 hours (from Stansstad).
You are welcome to record the experience in media. In the canyon you need a waterproof cover for cell phones or photo cameras. If you wish, we can organize a GoPro camera with memory card for CHF 50. You can keep the memory card afterwards.
We change outside in the nature. If necessary, the bus can be used as a changing cabin.
There is no official toilet after pickup. There is the possibility to go in the forest before we put the wetsuits on.
We are an SIA certified company that undergoes an annual safety audit. Our guides are trained canyoning guides and receive regular training. We only go into the canyon when the weather is good.
Chli Schliere:
We pick you up at the train station Alpnach village on the left side at the parking spaces and drive together to the entrance. The Outventure Bus is gray and clearly labelled. At the end of the tour everyone will be brought back to the train station.
Boggera:
We meet at the train station Cresciano in Ticino. From there we walk together to the entrance spot of the canyon.
We also offer shuttle service from Cental Switzerland (Stansstad) for CHF 45.-/person.
We advise to wear lenses and bring an extra set in case a lens would be lost. Glasses with an elastic band can also be worn.
We do not advise pregnant women to go canyoning.
Canyoning is not suitable for people who have a weak heart or cannot walk well.
Please inform us about your health condition. Needed medication can take the guide for you in the gorge.
Canyoning is a weather dependent sport. If the water level is too high or there is a lot of rain, we cannot carry out the tour. In case of uncertain weather conditions we will inform you early, normally three days before the event.
Yes, thermal underwear can be put on under the neoprene. Lycra shirts are also suitable. Cotton is not suitable.
