Blockhittä in Langis
The log cottage named Blockhitta in Swiss German embodies pure cozyness. It stands at the beginning of the magical Glaubenberg region in Obwalden. During the day we serve a small but nice selection of food and drinks during the opening hours of the ski lift. In the evenings, the traditional log cabin can be rented exclusively for groups of 8 persons or more.
Blockhittä during the day
The Blockhittä is located right next to the ski lift and during the day it is based on its opening hours. During the winter season, depending on the weather and snow conditions, this takes place at weekends and on Wednesday afternoons.
If the Blockhittä is open, we are happy to serve a strengthening hot dog or a delicious Blockhittä coffee. Come by and enjoy a few sunny hours on our terrace.

Arrival
By public transport: The Langis is easily accessible by post bus from Sarnen. The journey by train and post bus from Lucerne takes 50 minutes.
By car: You can drive up to Blockhittä. The Blockhittä is right next to the parking lot.
At weekends, we recommend traveling by public transport.

Blockhittä Tour: Snowshoe tour with fondue
Experience a guided snowshoe tour (1.5 hours) with Fredy Glanzmann under a radiant full moon. Followed by a cheese fondue in the cozy Blockhittä.
